Our Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Brian Zheng, comes with an impressive personal portfolio in the field of Strength Training. Six years ago, Brian suffered a serious injury to his right ankle that put him out of physical activity for an entire year. His self-confidence and self-esteem were shattered by his injury, filling him with fear and doubt about returning to his life-long passion – weight training – and leaving him uncertain about his ability to lose the excess weight he gained over the timespan of his injury.

Brian not only understands the physical and physiological issues underlying injury, but he has also gained a deep understanding of the psychological demand that an injury can create through his own personal experiences. Brian made the conscious decision to undergo the journey of rehabilitation, which helped rekindle the dedication to his purpose, and allowed him to return to continue working hard in the gym.
