Good news for Briarwoodians 😃, since there is a new PT office in our neighborhood. How convenient. More importantly it is staffed with young professionals, whose first training skill has been "to be nice." So, the moment you step in to to this spacious place you are surrounded by nice, smiley and friendly people. What a comfort. My experience is very positive, hence I am glad to share it with you.

Kash is amazing! She always gets me right and knows exactly how to push me to improve while keeping things safe and effective. I’ve also had the chance to work with Crista and Atif, the techs, and they’ve been great too. Supportive, knowledgeable, and really helpful. Big thanks to the whole team. Cheryl was also amazing too, she is sweet and lets me calling in for anything I need. Amanda is also the amazing, she has been there since the beginning and will take care of you and make sure everything is straight.

I have been visiting Promet for over a month and I like how they treat each of their clients. My therapist always wants to know how I’m improving with the exercises, so that he can adjust my training based on my progress. There is really no rush to finish your session. The facility has several equipments to train for various types of injuries. The front desk staffs are very welcoming knows all the clients.

I have used this Promet location 3 different times for 3 different injuries. Each time I am amazed at how great the entire staff is. From the receptionists and the ease with which to book appointments (and change appointments) that work with my schedule, and the assistance with my insurance and my scripts from the orthopedist, to the physical therapists and assistants who are polite, gentle, and thorough in everything they do.

They have really helped me recover from severe injuries. I am currently there for bicep tendonitis and a slight tear in the tendon. I am currently working with Kash and as I said before every therapist/trainer I have worked with has been amazing but she's truly the best. If you need PT for anything come here. You will be very happy you did.

Thank you, ProMet for rehabbing my shoulder!

One day I felt fine. The next day, my left shoulder was painfully locked within a tiny range of motion in all directions. Massage and chiropractic relieved the pain, but the loss of function didn't respond to yoga and calisthenics. At 54 years, old I began to fear that would never do pushup or handstands again.

The team at ProMet heard me out, assessed my function, confirmed where the issues were and have been able to help gradually regain pain-free movement. I'm almost feeling back to normal after 2 months of treatment. Looking forward to going all the way 🙂

I really wanted to have a good experience here, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The staff was inconsistent — I rarely saw the same therapist twice, which made it hard to feel any real progress. Scheduling was a mess and often changed at the last minute without proper notice. Overall, the office felt disorganized, and it didn’t leave me confident in the quality of care. I left feeling more frustrated than helped. Wouldn’t recommend.

Great communication regarding appointment availability and attentive care to patient needs and recovery. Cindy spends the time listening to patient and adapts the session accordingly. I would recommend this facility.

I am 63 years old who prioritized fitness and health but have always hated having to do physical therapy because it’s always time consuming, requires a co-pay and I often feel the therapists uses a one size fit method based on illness and age regardless of where you go. I found a ProMet Physical Therapy in my neighborhood after major back surgery I needed 6 – 8 weeks of physical therapy. My first visit I was a bit disappointed at the facility and the lack of fancy new equipment’s and amenities. I have had physical therapy in the Equinox gym in Midtown and several Mount Sinai facilities over the years. However, the young lady at the front desk made me feel at eased and welcome. Then I met my therapist Brain who looked way to young to be a therapist. Brain took my prescription, asked how I was feeling, then proceeded to explain all the exercises he will be starting me with, explained the exercises and the benefits of these exercises. Asked if I had any questions or concerns, feeling any pain as I do each exercise. After my second visit Brian changed up some of the exercises, repetition and weights used after assessing my fitness level. This process continued weekly as I get stronger, and I felt challenged weekly. I look forward to going to physical therapy and to update my therapist on the improvements I was making daily. What I love the most about ProMet is the level of customer service you receive from front desk on. My therapist Brian, listens, asked questions, answer my many questions and gives suggestions. I feel like I have a personal trainer that my insurance company is paying for. What I can say is no matter how great your therapist and facility is it all boils down to how engaged you are in your healing and the goals you set for yourself.

I am very grateful for the physical therapy services I receive at the Briarwood location. Physical therapist Brian really cares about my progress and success. I am so motivated with Brian’s guidance and work hard because he is very knowledgeable and intentional on finding the exercises that will best help me to meet my goals. In addition, the entire staff, including the reception desk, are kind and always looking to help!

Came here because I was in a car accident. I wanted to make sure I had a therapist that could help me get back into powerlifting. At first I could not walk or do daily movement. After working with Brian for months I am confident enough to lift and reach for new goals.

The team is very knowledgeable, patient, professional, and attentive. Dr. Patel listens, ask and answers questions, provides encouragement and guidance. She’s very transparent and extremely knowledgeable. Nia is also great with assisting with the PT. Amanda, provides great customer service at the front desk.

With no exaggeration, going to this place change my life. Prior to coming here I’ve visited 3 other Physical therapy places. Weeks would go by and I felt I was still being assessed. After 15mins with Christian here at ProMet, he knew exactly what my issue was and we got right to work. By the end of our first session my shoulder felt the best it did in 3years, and I can now say i can get back to lifting the way i used too! Thanks again Christian!

I've seen more physical therapists in my life than most people. I've found that most Physical Therapists become stagnant in their thist for knowledge and end up seeing patients on autopilot for most of their careers. That is not who you will find at ProMet PT!

It was exciting to work with younger therapists doing things differently. There is only so much that laying on a PT table having ultrasound done will help... anyone. These therapists know that they key to getting better and decreasing pain is hard work (not anything that brings on more pain, of course) to build muscle and/or retrain your body to maneuver the way it should.

I made great strides in my time there. I walked in afraid to do a squat for fear of causing more damage to my knees and walked out a few months later doing full deep knee squats with basically no pain. I didn't even know that I couldn't bend one of my big toes, from an injury to my left foot a year before. We worked through both of those issues, taking great care to keep my Fibromyalgia pain low and it took longer than other people might but I got where I needed to be before I ran out of visits.

To close I'll say that anyone can go to a PT office and get through their therapy. The big question is would you go back next time something in your musculoskeletal system goes wrong? I am!!

I have had the best experiences at ProMet Physical Therapy in Kew Gardens. I came in after surgery on my ankle. I fell and double fractured my ankle while hiking. Katie has been my physical therapist and has done a phenomenal job. She educated me thoroughly, definitely helped speed up my recovery and helped me feel overall better about the healing process. My ankle is doing very well, I'm running again and I was walking much more quickly than I expected - all thanks to the services I received at ProMet. The staff here are both professional and warm and I actually look forward to my appointments! I highly recommend this place!
