Ryan founded ProMet Physical Therapy in 2007, the culmination of his vision for quality physical therapy, emphasizing the importance of individualized care and centered on the principles of human movement. Ryan’s affection for his profession, his knowledge of human movement and his experience in the field has facilitated his many successful clinical experiences within the community over the last 10 years. Prior to ProMet, Ryan served as a consultant for two of the most prestigious rehabilitation companies in the metropolitan area where he treated corporate executives, pro athletes and television personalities.

Ryan’s specialty areas of interest include the shoulder and the overhead athlete as well as the rehabilitation of the knee and lumbar spine. Ryan is a clinical instructor for Doctoral students of Physical Therapy at Long Island University Brooklyn Campus, Columbia University, Tauro College, Hunter College and the College of Staten Island. He is a current and active member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) and an advocate for the advancement of the profession in healthcare.

Notable: Ryan played Ivy League intercollegiate baseball for the Columbia University Lions. He also serves as the physical therapy consultant for local high school athletic programs including Christ the King Regional HS, Archbishop Molloy HS, Monsignor McClancy Memorial HS, St. John’s Preparatory Academy, Cathedral Preparatory HS, Grand Street Campus as well as the Midville Dodgers Baseball Clubs.
