Diego earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the College of Staten Island after completing his undergraduate studies in Cognitive Psychology at Hunter College. During his training as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Diego has gathered a diverse collection of rigorous clinical experiences in the subacute rehab, acute rehab and orthopedic settings, treating a variety of individuals with post-operative, orthopedic, neurological, vestibular and sports-related diagnoses.

Establishing a clear, communicative partnership towards identifying and treating the root cause of the dysfunction serves as the essence of Diego’s treatment approach. Diego believes in building a physical foundation that is both mobile and strong with the targeted goal of improving overall functional movement.

In addition to earning his Doctorate, Diego has over 10 years of competitive track and cross-country experience in distances from 100 meters to the 8k, serving as a successful athlete, team captain and coach winning several championships as a 400 meter intermediate hurdler. Diego continues to be involved in the running community whether it is serving as a camp counselor at The Running School, volunteering his time organizing track meets at The Armory or setting up running workshops at various running stores.
