Abin has always wanted to work in the healthcare field. His first experience with physical therapy came when he accompanied his father to PT sessions, witnessing firsthand how the treatments improved his father’s quality of life. Motivated by that experience, he pursued opportunities to shadow physical therapists, and it was during that time he realized this was the career path he wanted to commit to wholeheartedly.

He has had the privilege of working with diverse age groups, from preterm infants to geriatric patients, across a wide range of settings including both inpatient and outpatient care.

He also had the unique opportunity to work and learn under the chief physical therapist of an international cricket team, where he helped evaluate and treat a wide variety of sports-related injuries, supporting athletes in their return to peak performance—an area he is especially passionate about.

Currently, Abin mentors new graduate students and contributes to clinical education for the next generation of physical therapists by serving as a Clinical Instructor.

He enjoys treating a diverse range of operative and non-operative conditions and has a strong focus on sports injury prevention utilizng Manual therapy, Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, Kinesiotaping, Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFRT), and Cupping

In his free time, Abin enjoys going on drives, exploring new places, taking nature walks, trying new foods, and playing recreational badminton and ping pong. During pandemic, he also volunteered his time to support patients experiencing long-term effects of the virus.
